Apollo has always loved skiing. Not casually — with focus, dedication, and a dream of one day competing in the Freeride World Tour. But when he chose to live authentically and take on the name Apollo Gravity, that courage came with a cost. On his former ski team, he was bullied for being different - just because he owned a new name. It grew so bad that he nearly walked away from the sport he loved and we had to remove him from that ski team.

We made the decision to change environments and give him a fresh start. But even then, the challenges followed. When kids at his new school discovered his former name, the bullying escalated — to the point of physical assault. Six boys coordinated an attack on him after school. Law enforcement was involved, and as a family, we realized something had to change.

Rather than shrinking or hiding, Apollo chose something powerful.

He chose to own his name. He chose to turn it into a symbol of strength.

He chose to create the brand Apollo Gravity — a brand rooted in resilience, self-belief, and becoming who you are meant to be, no matter the resistance.

We need to get Apollo into the right situation for him. He has been accepted into Wy’East Mountain Academy, a place where athletes like him can grow, train, and belong all while getting a great education.

Every piece of Apollo Gravity gear helps support his journey — helping him train, travel, and build a future as a skier. It is an amazing opportunity, but he could use some help getting there.
